Ah! You are those who love them, but they love you not, though you believe in the whole of the Book. When they meet you, they say, "We believe.": But when they are alone, they bite off the very tips of their fingers at you in their rage. Say: "Perish in your rage; God knows well all the secrets of the heart." When they repented, and saw that they had erred, they said: "If our Lord have not mercy upon us and forgive us, we will indeed be of those who perish." As to those who hold fast by the Book and establish regular prayer, never will We suffer the reward of the righteous to perish. Whom God does guide, he is on the right path: Whom He rejects from His guidance. such are the persons who perish. Let not their wealth nor their following in sons dazzle you: In reality God's plan is to punish them with these things in this life, and that their souls may perish in their very denial of God. But their Lord inspired this Message to them: "Verily We will cause the wrong-doers to perish! Without doubt, in the Hereafter they will perish. And say: "Truth has now arrived, and Falsehood perished: For Falsehood is by its nature bound to perish." As to those who believe and work righteousness, verily We will not suffer to perish the reward of any who do a single righteous deed. He went into his garden in a state of mind unjust to his soul: He said, "I deem not that this will ever perish, "Therefore let not such as believe not therein but follow their own lusts, divert you therefrom, lest you perish!". Saying: "Eat of the good things We have provided for your sustenance, but commit no excess therein, lest My Wrath should justly descend on you: And those on whom descends My Wrath do perish indeed! Nay, We hurl the Truth against falsehood, and it knocks out its brain, and behold, falsehood does perish! Ah! Woe be to you for the false things you ascribe to Us. And call not, besides God, on another god. There is no god but He. Everything that exists will perish except His own Face. To Him belongs the Command, and to Him will you all be brought back. Say: "Enough is God for a witness between me and you: He knows what is in the heavens and on earth, and it is those who believe in vanities and reject God, that will perish in the end. But their professing the Faith when they actually saw Our Punishment was not going to profit them. Such has been God's Way of dealing with His Servants from the most ancient times. And even thus did the Rejecters of God perish utterly! Or He can cause them to perish because of the evil which the men have earned; but much does He forgive. To God belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and the Day that the Hour of Judgment is established, that Day will the dealers in Falsehood perish! All that is on earth will perish: The Evil One has got the better of them: So he has made them lose the remembrance of God. They are the Party of the Evil One. Truly, it is the Party of the Evil One that will perish! Perish the hands of the Father of Flame! Perish he!
